DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMS
The only thing better than getting a degree from one international university is getting two degrees from two international universities at the same time. APU has an Undergraduate Double Degree Program with St. Edward's University (USA), NEOMA Business School (France), Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (Austria) and Kyung Hee University (Korea).

Through this program, students may receive two degrees: one from APU and one from a host university. Participating students need only pay tuition fees to APU. Credit transfer will be conducted according to each university’s regulations. Time and content of the program differ from each university.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Build your international portfolio by joining a study exchange program for a semester or a year at one of our international or Japanese partner universities. Thanks to APU Student Exchange Agreements, you will only need to pay APU tuition and be exempted from tuition at the host university. If you are awarded an APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship, it will remain valid during your time on the exchange program.

Gateway Program
An 8-Week Intensive Japanese Language Program.

FIELD STUDY
During the semesters and summer/winter sessions, you can participate in a field study program in which students will be led by an instructor to carry out research and analysis outside the campus. These programs will lead you to various Japanese and international locations and help you deepen your knowledge of the local area as well as of the topic and research techniques.

FRESHMAN INTERCULTURAL RELATIONS STUDY TRIP (FIRST) PROGRAM
The FIRST Program is available for both Japanese and international students in different study locations. While Japanese students go overseas, international students will be exploring the Kyushu island of Japan. In the program, participants will travel in groups with the support of a Teaching Assistant (TA), who is a selected senior student. During a four-day period, participants are expected to meet and interact with over 100 local people and conduct research on designated topics. Students who have joined this program have said that they have all grown tremendously through this experience. It is definitely a program that you should participate in.
